Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the book sale?

At the Chappaqua Library! The sale takes place in the theater, gallery, and courtyard.

Is a tax receipt provided for book donations?

Yes, upon request.

Where should I drop off my book donations?

Donations can be brought to the theater entrance of the library during the designated donation drop-off hours. We will have volunteers stationed at the theater entrance to help unload cars and bring the donations inside.

Can I drop off my donations before Monday?

Nope! We sincerely regret not being able to accept donations ahead of time due to extremely limited storage space. Items left at the library entrance prior to our donation dates will be recycled.

What methods of payment will be accepted at the sale?

We happily accept cash, checks, credit card, PayPal, Venmo and ApplePay.
